One thing is clear in that, as things stand, the producer (OEM), which means the customer is responsible and it is their responsibility to ensure compliance by the cut off date. As the manufacturing partner to our customer we have to ensure that all our processes are compliant and that the assemblies we supply are compliant.
As well as ongoing equipment review and identifying suitable lead-free alloys, it has culminated in us producing lead-free Assemblies.
